Today I have started patterning my Huntsman Dress.
The block that I am using is the dress block.
I then decided that instead of having darts I would split the dress into panels and put in the panels where I will be inserting the side pieces.
I then started to experiment with the side pieces.
I created the panel, 5cm deep and pinned it to the mannequin. I am pleased with the effect and feel that it will hang better in fabric but I am going to extend it to 10cm.
