Continuing with my Pin-Tucks

As you may have seen in my previous post I have been adding my pin-tucks to one side of my toile.  I had gotten quite far in the previous lesson and was able to finish them off last lesson.  I found finishing these pin-tucks quite simple as there was only the flat part leading to the neckline left to do.  This is what they looked like when they were finished,

The next step was to draw in where the seam lines are in the dress as this is where the panel of pin-tucks will be inserted.  I found this quite hard as finding exactly where the seam was underneath was difficult.

When I had draw all the lines in I was able to cut the material down so I was only left with the piece that I need.

I then had to make each individual pin-tuck so the when I take it off to create the pattern I know exactly where to fold to create the same effect.
I am excited to see it coming together but there is still quite a bit to do before my toile is complete and I can start with the final dress.  What do you think so far?
