When I made the pin-tuck panels one problem that I came across was that the pink silk that I used didn't quite reach the bottom of the base fabric. To solve this problem I have adjusted the length so that the bottom edge of the pin-tucks is at the bottom of the dress and is caught in with the overlocking.
