So now that my main dress is finished as much as I can the next step was to start on the side pieces after I solved a problem when cutting out my patterns I can start to think about hemming the edges but how would I do this to fit the couture market?
After talking to my tutors I have decided that I would use a rolled blind hem, this is because it gives a neat effect where the stitching cant be seen on either side.
This is definitely going to take a while but the effect it creates is worth it.
