Patterning my Funnelweb Skirt

Here is the process I went through when creating my patterns for my Funnelweb skirt.

I used the skirt blocks to create these patterns.

In order to create my patterns I needed to make a few adaptations to the skirt block.

The first adaptation that I made was to extend it to make the skirt floor length.

I then added 1inch to each side of the skirt apart from the centre front to make the skirt slightly flare at the bottom.

I then created a panel at the bottom of the skirt.

I then used the measurements from the mannequin to create my waistband.
